A dress worn by Charmian Carr in her role as Liesl in The Sound of Music (20th Century, 1965). Dusty rose silk chiffon pink party dress, labeled in pen on interior “Liesl Dress #2.” Three-quarter puff sleeves and square neckline. Built-in petticoat with interior silk chiffon ruffle for volume. Zipper closure at back. Dress is intentionally distressed, presumably because this is the dress worn as Liesl climbs into the room of Maria (Julie Andrews) after being out in the rain with Rolfe and singing “Sixteen Going on Seventeen.”
………. Oh, and by the way, somebody bought it for $13,750.
